We can count on the talents, experience and networks of a very dedicated team. Our CEO Carlos Alvarenga is a business and academic thought leader, who knows the ins and outs of both the corporate and academic ecosystems.

Our very active advisors are senior c-level executives, some with current academic leadership and advisory roles.

Our network design and management team comes from the world of executive networking, and we have seen first-hand what makes great collaboration work.

  1. We have the know-how of a big company and the flexibility that comes with being a small, dedicated and hyper-focused team.

  2. Our business success depends on building long-term partnerships with academia and business that create value for all of us.

  3. Our backgrounds are both academic and corporate. We believe that these two worlds should be united to tackle our biggest challenges.

  4. By constantly connecting with our global network of academic and business leaders, we keep a finger on the pulse of the fast-changing issues that shape our world. It’s how we keep KATALYST a value creator for both our stakeholder groups.

  5. We like to keep things simple and transparent. You see what we see. You know what we know.

  6. We think and work globally: we believe business leaders everywhere can benefit from the best ideas and that the best ideas can come from anywhere.

  7. We work digitally and virtually to make our networks accessible and affordable to the operational managers at the front lines of business innovation and transformation.
